Jamieson Needs Your Help!

So we took on a cat in need even though the cat refuge is not even close to being done yet! I could not let Jamieson suffer and die. At the very least he will be given love and medical treatment to help him. He wants to live so I am going to do everything possible to help him.

Sunny Brook Farm and Sanctuary was alerted to Jamieson needing help by a good samaritan. Even though we are full we could not let Jamieson die because of his previous uncaring owner. Jamieson is such a sweet cat and does not have a mean bone in his body. He purred the entire time at the vet while he got poked to take blood for tests and get examined. His initial bloodwork showed him to be anemic (he has since been treated for fleas), FIV+ (probably due to getting beat up by neighborhood cats), and has a low white blood cell count. Jamieson is very thin so we are trying to get as much food as possible into him. He also has a deep wound on his hind end which has been cleaned and he is on antibiotics for. He will need more bloodwork done in a couple of weeks and eventually will need to be neutered. Please donate if you can and share Jamieson's story. Sunny Brook Farm and Sanctuary is a very small rescue so any help towards Jamieson's vet bills would be appreciated. -
